I bought the “Detail” burning system. I am not at all happy with the replaceable tips, they heat intermittently. The fixed tips work better but are more expensive.

I went down to Craft Supplies and got a Razor tip pen, the tips are fastened with screws. Naturally the connection on it is different than the “Detail” unit. Just found an adapter cable at Radio Shack pn 42-2440A. It converts the RCA style jack to the old style mono jack. Works great now I can use both pens on my “Detail” unit.
