My friend Greg visited my shop all this past week and we had a blast.
Turns out that I got some wet mulberry from a friend just a day before we opened the shop.
I also got some green cherry from the neighbors fall tree trimming exercise.

Weird OAK MAN Bowl

I got this weird idea to turn a log transversely and this was the results.
I didn’t care much for it, way to heavy.
Oh well you have to experiment to learn.
Note: my first attempt at pyrography.
Unlike the name the wood is spruce :)

I completed a large ash bowl for my sister in Fla. It featured a natural finish on the outside with a dyed Burgundy interior. The internal dying process I got off the web worked well.
I delivered the bowl to my sister and she was delighted.
