Aspen Lamp Complete
Just in time for Halloween (kind of reminds me of a pumpkin). Mmmmm a turned pumpkin!
As you will notice I added a lid to the lamp. I found that the light emanating from the top (see photo1) detracted from the lit grain below it.
The top is also turned from the same piece of Aspen. It is fitted with a mahogany finial. It was turned very thin so light will penetrate.
I am using a fluorescent 13w (60W equivalent) bulb to reduce heat.
